38 SPECIAL - " Strength In Numbers " - ~ EMPTY Longbox ~ NO CD - Long Box Only

This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by 38 Special of the album release called " Strength In Numbers "   . This Longbox release was originally issued in the 80's on the A & M Records label with a CAT. NR . : 5115.     The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in  good condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were pulled open fairly nicely -  to remove the cd a number of years ago.  There are a couple compression issues to this longbox.  There is a small compression crease to the upper-right corner on the front side - the compression crease caused a small split seam on the upper-right spine side.  This split seam is not too noticeable or distracting for front side viewing.
There is a compression crease to the middle-right spine side of the longbox on the front side.   The compression crease has caused a little bit of crunching or indentation to the middle  of the right spine.  This crunching of the spine edge is noticeable , but not too distracting for front side viewing.  There is a large compression to the back side on the top half.  This compression has caused a vertical surface crease along the left spine side and a little bit of split seam.  The back side compression does not affect front side viewing.  There is also a couple shrink wrap tearing on both the left spine side and right spine side on the lower half of the front side.  The shrink wrap tearing is noticeable for front side viewing.  The shrink wrap can be removed, or exchanged or mended or ignored for front side viewing.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
