Antique Austrian Sterling Silver and Gold Compact with Enamel Basket & Guilloche

Description

Here's an elegant antique enamel, sterling silver and gold compact
.  The top has an enamel design of a basket with pink flowers on a white guilloche background.  The top is a small gold ring around the enamel.  The base has two small gold bands.  The interior is has a gold wash.  I believe this compact was made in Austria and has two tiny hallmarks in the base.
The compact measures about 1¾ inches in diameter.  It weighs 41 grams.
It is in excellent condition with no nicks, dents, spots or damage. I have only given it a light polish.  The hinge has not be modified and the closure works as expected.
The compact has two tiny hallmarks in the base interior.  I believe one of the marks is KA.  There is a small etched owner's mark in the lid which has 108-18-1186 NYC (it seems like an early SSN).  The base also has a light ownership etching which is very visible in the pictures, but hard to see in person.
