Antique Jeweled Filigre Lady's Compact stamped TRINITY PLATE

Description

HIGHLY COLLECTABLE Antique TRINITY PLATE  brass powder compact, circa early 1900's. This compact was made by Trinity Plate, a company that manufactured many gorgeous
vanity items such as dance purses, evening bags and compacts. Most were
hand finished and many were beaded, glass stone embellished and noted
for the fine beautiful craftsmanship and beautiful details. This antique
piece is stamped "Trinity Plate"on the outside bottom.  The top is gold filigree that is accented with bezel set bright blue jewels and measures approx. 2” in diameter.  The inside shows some corrosion on the bottom.  There is a framed mirror that is missing a small portion of its silvered back.  The hinge is good and the compact stays closed using friction.  Because of the inside corrosion, I am selling this compact "as is".
