    SCOTTISH TERRIER ART PRINT BY EDWIN MEGARGEE
    This is an antique book print featuring of a pair of Scottish Terriers.
    Item measures approximately 8" by 11" and is in very good condition.
    Edwin Megargee is best known for his portraits of purebred dogs. His animal portraits truly
    showcase each animal’s personality. In the tradition of the pure-bred dog portrait, his dogs
    are typically posed to show off how they conform to the breed standard.
    Megargee also painted horses, cattle and cock-fighting scenes. The running greyhound logo for
    the Greyhond Bus Co. was designed by him. Several of his game-shooting scenes appeared
    in "Field & Stream" throughout the 1940s-50s.
    The print will be packaged in a plastic sleeve, with a thin piece of cardboard, and with very stiff cardboard...very sturdy!
