A very beautiful Art Deco - Edwardian Sterling Silver Minaudiere Compact Purse, Aide Memoire, of oval tubular shape with a wonderfully engraved image of flowers in a vase with a striped and dot guilloche background design. The case is Sterling Silver and hallmarked International Sterling 798. It dates to the Art Deco to Edwardian period, circa 1900 - 1920. The case has a suspension rings and carrying rope. The minaudiere is 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. It is 1 1/4 inches deep. The case weighs 82 grams.
