    Description

    Offered for sale is a gorgeous shiny vintage ladies rouge compact from Armand USA. Features engine turned etched detail on both the top and bottom and the Pompadour logo. This is the largest rouge compact I have ever seen. It seems like it should be a powder compact until you see the rouge inside. 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It is signed Armand in script on the inner mirror rim. Also stamped Pat 7-1-24, Made in the USA. Has the original puff that looks unused. The compact looks practically perfect. It is 97 years old and still shining. Latch closes tightly. I always liked Armand items. The company was located in Des Moines, Iowa which reminds me of home. You will never find a better example of this item.
