    1930s RUBY KEELER
Busby Berkeley Actress Large Vintage Warner Brothers Promotional Photograph from movie "DAMES"!
Nice authentic original 1930s vintage large photograph with facsimilie signature of RUBY KEELER, the innocent-faced tap-dancing sweetheart of nine Warner Brothers musicals in the 1930's!
A nice, large photograph from this early talkie Hollywood actress. The photograph is perfect for matting and framing and measures a LARGE 9" by 12" and is in nice shape! It has a paragraph on the back which reads "For your Collection! It's sweeping the country. Every one is making a personal collection of these beautiful studio portraits. Be sure to include in your collection this fascinating portrait of Ruby Keeler, star of Warner Brothers' DAMES". A neat early piece of film memorabilia!
Ruby Keeler was an actress, singer, and dancer who rose to fame in 1933 with a starring role in the movie musical "42nd Street". She worked numerous times in musicals with Dick Powell. From 1928 for 12 years she was married to legendary singer Al Jolson. She then retired for almost 30 years, until making a spectacular comeback in "No No Nanette" on Broadway in 1971.
