Description

Up for auction is an old framed cardboard sign advertising
Griesedieck Bros. Light Lager Beer
from the
Griesedieck Bros. Brewery Company of St. Louis, Missouri
.
The sign measures 29-1/2" wide by 38-1/2” tall and
dates to the late 1940s.
The sign is in overall excellent condition for its age with
vibrant, unfaded colors
and
does not appear to have any noticeable damage on the front of the sign
.
This sign is
ALL ORIGINAL
and
not
a reproduction.
The labels on the bottles state "INTERNAL REVENUE TAX PAID".
I surveyed a few long-time St. Louis collectors and the consensus was that
this piece is quite rare
.
I've been collecting for over twenty years and have
NEVER SEEN ANOTHER

Please refer to the pictures that I have provided as they are representative of the sign's condition and are included in the sign's description.
