This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by Marillion of the album release called  " The Thieving Magpie [ La Gazza Ladra ] "  . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1988 on the Capitol Records label with a CAT. NR . : 91463 .   The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
LONGBOX CONDITION :
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  Both cd's were removed from the bottom and top of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in Good condition - with the original shrink wrap still somewhat intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap . This longbox was cut open at the very top and also bottom and the top and bottom flaps were pulled opened - to remove the cd's  a number of years ago. The top side and bottom side flaps are functional and fold back nicely into the longbox. The shrink wrap on the front side and back side are a bit tattered and torn on the bottom side that is visible for front side viewing.   There is a light razor blade cut mark to the bottom flap ,  that is not noticeable for front side viewing.  There is a razor blade cut on the top side flap as well that can be seen in the pics  that may or may not be mended - and  is also not noticeable for front side viewing.  There is a light vertical compression creasing on the back side toward the top and does not affect front side viewing,  There is a 2" inch razor blade cut mark on the back side toward the bottom - in the middle that may or may not be mended and  does not affect front side viewing.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
