O.F.B. & Co Guilloche Enameled Powder Compact Double Compartments Chain

Description

This auction is for a gorgeous vintage powder & rouge compact, with a mirror on one side and textured metal on the other side of the divider between the powder and rouge compartments.  The enameling is in great condition with an engraved design in the center of the compact in the shape of a shield.  A magnet does not stick to the metal, but have not tested for sterling silver.  It is marked O.F.B. & Co or D.F.B & Co on the interior of the piece.  The metal is silvertone with expected minimal wear, but one shallow dent on the back as photographed.  The original chain is attached.  This is a very elaborate and detailed compact.  The compact measures 2" in diameter and 1/2" from top to bottom.
