    (Solon) Palmer was one of America's earliest perfumers. Gardenglo was their first best selling line, and only 1 of 3 lines packaged in a compact form metal case.
    Their golden years were 1924 to 1934, then the company saw a steady decline post war, and after a family squabble in court in 1963 the brand virtually disappeared.
