RARE! EXQUISITE Antique FRENCH Brass *JEWELED* Raised Cameo COMPACT Dance PURSE
Absolutely MAGNIFICENT compact dance purse made in
FRANCE
No replacements on this beautiful piece, everything is original
Beautiful brilliant multi faceted prong set sapphire blue paste stones
All original to the piece, none missing
Center is a hand carved, raised cameo
Hand painted enamel design covering the entire front
Inside is a gorgeous beveled mirror (high quality) in very good condition
On inside bottom it has the number 13
Hallmarked "made in France" on top lip front
Beautiful aged patina
Hinge works great, once closed, stays closed
When you close the case, there is a teeny tiny fraction of a raise,
the case does not open on its own whether hanging or laying flat (see pic #5 that’s the raise on the left front)
A showpiece for your vanity
Box has not been cleaned since I purchased it
Original chain is still attached, 4 1/2 inch drop
Please expect normal wear commensurate with the age of the piece
