    Description

    Rare Pre-Pro "Drink Sparkling Orchard Queen" Soda Tin Over Cardboard Advertising Sign made by American Art Works. Orchard Queen seem to have been produced between 1915 and 1921 when the Orchard Queen Company was busted when it was found that there was alcohol in the Orchard Queen Grape version. The Orchard Queen Company was founded as part of the M. Hommel Wine Co. located in Sandusky, Ohio. The H. Hommel Wine Company ceased operations at the beginning of Prohibition. The Orchard Queen ad shown was in the 1915 Wine and Spirit Bulletin. They also used the Brewers Journal. Sign size is 9" x 4 1/2". Nice rare TOC!
