    The Goddess Venus is having emerged from the sea as a fully grown woman. arriving at the sea-shore. Surrounding by areas of turquoise color enamel.
    All that detailed of the fine art work:
    It is breathtaking .
    Since this is an antique vintage item. There are some fine hair lines hardly visible to the naked eyes . That are on the surface of the enameling case.  However the compact is one of the best rare items.
    The border of the lid, the sides and the reverse of the case

    All with detailed silver in chased design.
    The interior of the compact :
    Original gold washed interior,
    the gold tone is lightened  due to used and aged.
    The original clips, hinges and springs are in good working order!

    It is in vintage good condition.

    The compact is in a fancy oval form. Measures 3-7/8 " in width by 3 1/8 " in  high,  by 7/16 " thick.
