This offer is for an EMPTY cd Longbox by Soul Asylum of the album release called " Grave Dancers Union  "   . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1992  on the Sony / Columbia Records label with a CAT. NR . :48898.     The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graphical marketing tool as well.   The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's,  to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection.  Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail.   These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's  personal album or cd collection.  You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf  for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house.   Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d .  The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago.  The condition of this empty longbox is in fairly Nice condition - with the original shrink wrap still intact - keeping the dimensional integrity.  This longbox has Never been flattened or removed from its original shrink wrap .  This longbox was cut open on the back side at the very bottom along the very bottom back side seam.   The longbox had been somewhat flattened in the past - thus there is a split seam on the back side  all along the left spine side.  The split seam on the back left spine side does not affect front side viewing.   There is a red & yellow 3/4" inch manufacturer's square emblem sticker imprinted in the graphics to the longbox by the record label in the bottom-left corner.  The graphic imprint is not removable  and is imprinted in the graphics in this longbox issue.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
