This sale is for a lovely Elgin American sterling silver compact that is 3” across and weighs 71.0 grams . It is clearly marked sterling silver. It opens and closes properly. There are some dents on the back of this from years of use and there are fine surface scratches from use on the front as well. I could not get it to show in the photos but there is discoloration on the inside of the mirror where the makeup pad rested against the surface of the glass.
