Vtg Mini "The Little Red Book" Leather Binding Gilt Lettering Original Envelope

This is a miniature “Date Book" as issued by the Home Life Insurance Company, New York. Unnumbered, 2.25" x 2.75" with leather binding, and gilt lettering on front cover. The book is in mint condition, it honestly looks brand new. I am not kidding! When I saw the envelope I expected the book to be worn, but as you can see in the pictures, it could have been printed yesterday. It features a small two-page area that will hold stamps, and the only thing written inside is tie Identification Card, and Emergency Contact information. I didn't want to bend or crease the book taking pictures, so you will not see full pages, only partial ones that it naturally falls to. If this book had been in my family, I would have considered it a treasure, a small glimpse to another time when you actually talked to a person, not on a phone, or over the internet, but face to face. A rare occurrence these days. Please look closely at the pictures keeping in mind that they are magnified to show you all the details. The penny is your reference to the actual size.
